Heidenau K60 Scout

A dependable on and off road high mileage super tough touring tyre ideal for SA conditions.  These German made dual purpose motorcycle tyres are renowned for their high mileage both on and off road, as well as having a super tough casing .

Tested extensively in South Africa prior to their release you can be rest assured this tyre will be a faithful companion wherever your adventure takes you, be it in South Africa or a cross continent expedition.  Thanks to a specially developed carcass, punctures are dramatically reduced , as are side wall cuts caused by sharp stones and shale, something a rider will encounter when riding off road in South Africa.

This tyre is designed to be a 50/50 multi purpose adventure tyre.  A unique center strip provides stable straight tracking on road while off road a substantial gap between the deep lugs allows mud, dirt, sand and gravel to freely pass without turning the tyre into a slick. The best of both worlds both on tar or off road .

It is not unheard of for these tyres to return over 20 000 km but bear in mind it does depend on load , speed and riding conditions (e.g fully laden BMW GS 1150 Adventure rode from SA to Sweden on one set while 2 Dakars rode from Germany to Mongolia on one set: www.pikipiki2.co.za

TL = Tubeless tyres may be fitted to tubeless wheels or to tube type wheels with a tube inserted.

TT = Tube Type tyres may only be fitted to tube type wheels with a tube inserted.
